HOW TO MAKE APPLE BUTTER
This is a quick and simple recipe for homemade apple butter that can be prepared in a slow cooker. Spread it on, use it as a syrup, or include it in one of your autumn dishes! It’s one of the most delicious apple dishes you can create when autumn rolls around!
The only things I can say about this Homemade Apple Butter are that it is really simple to make and that it tastes amazing beyond belief. It’s one of those things that, when you try a little bit of it, you think to yourself, “This could go in so many other dishes!”
When I took my first mouthful, the flavor brought to mind applesauce with a hint of tartness. It amazes me how much of a difference there is in taste when I spread some of my homemade apple butter over some fresh, fluffy white bread. Instant, fall-flavored bread. It works very well in baked goods like muffins and biscuits.
INGREDIENTS:
Peeled and sliced apples; I used 6 pounds.
1/2 cup.Of granulated sugar.
1/2 cup.Of packed brown sugar.
1 1/2 Tbsp.Of cinnamon powder.
1/4 Tsp.Of salt.
1 Tbsp.Of vanilla extract.
THIS RECIPE FOR APPLE BUTTER IS QUITE STRAIGHTFORWARD TO PREPARE, SO LET’S GET STARTED:
First Step
In a slow cooker, put the peeled apples. Next, add both sugars, cinnamon powder, salt, and vanilla extract into the slow cooker and stir well. Combine thoroughly.
Second Step
Cook on low in a slow cooker for about ten hours, stirring approximately every two hours. The apple butter has to be on the thicker side and deep brown color.
9Third Step
If you want the apple butter to be completely smooth, you can at this point purée it in a blender.
Fourth Step
Cover and store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks; alternatively, portion out and freeze in individual containers.
RECIPE NOTE:
It’s Really Simple To Prepare! From Now On, Everyone Could Try It! Just Bear In Mind That The Proportions Of Sugar May Be Readily Adjusted In Accordance With Your Preferences.
