BANANA BREAD BROWNIES

HOW TO MAKE BANANA BREAD BROWNIES

It seems like I can never have bananas in the home for more than a few days until everyone all of a sudden decides that they no longer want to consume them. Then we are going to be stuck with spotted bananas that are overripe on the counter! Banana bread with chocolate chips is a family favorite, but I wanted to try something different this time, so instead of creating our standard banana bread recipe, I decided to twist brownies by adding a banana bread batter and see how it turned out. It seems that banana bread and brownies are a perfect pairing with each other.

These Banana Bread Brownies are a delicious combination of dense chocolate brownies and airy banana bread that is swirled together. It’s the best possible combination of two of our all-time favorite dishes!

There is nothing better than bananas and chocolate. If you have ever had a frozen banana that was coated in chocolate and then frozen, these brownies will remind you of that experience, but in brownie shape. Even though I was concerned that the banana bread batter might make the finished brownies too “cakey,” they turned out to be rather thick and fudgy, precisely the way we enjoy them.

THE INGREDIENTS LIST:

Salted butter; I used 3/4 cup.

1 Cup.Of granulated sugar.

1/2 Cup.Of brown sugar.

3 whole eggs; large-sized.

2 Tsp.Of vanilla extract.

3/4 Cup.Of all-purpose flour.

1/2 Tsp.Of salt.

Ingredients needed for making the Banana Bread Batter:

1 Cup.Of over-ripe mashed bananas.

1/2 Tsp.Of baking powder.

Ingredients needed for making the Brownie Batter:

1/2 Cup.Of unsweetened cocoa powder.

1 Cup.Of semisweet chocolate chips divided

PREPARATION:

1st Step:

Put the oven on to preheat at 350 degrees F. Prepare a parchment paper sling to line a square baking dish measuring 9 inches.

2nd Step:

In a large bowl, combine the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Beat or whisk the mixture until it is smooth.

3rd Step:

After that, you should add the eggs one at a time and beat the mixture after each addition.

4th Step:

Now, gradually mix in the flour and salt, continuing to do so just until everything is incorporated.

5th Step:

Separately, in a medium basin, mash the bananas, and then add baking powder on top of the mashed bananas. Stir to mix.

6th Step:

After the bananas have been well mixed, add one-half of the batter to the bowl and whisk to blend. Set aside.

7th Step:

The second half of the mixture should have the cocoa powder and the majority of the chocolate chips added to it. You should set aside a small handful of chocolate chips to sprinkle on top of the finished brownies. Stir to mix.

8th Step:

Using a spoon, spread a quarter of the brownie batter into the baking dish. It doesn’t have to cover the pan’s bottom. Pour the mixture for banana bread over the mixture for brownies.

9th Step:

Using a knife, carefully swirl together the remaining brownie batter with spoonfuls on top. Put the extra chocolate chips on top.

10th Step:

Bake the brownies for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out mostly clean. Let it cool all the way before cutting it into squares.

ENJOY IT!!!
