2 Cups.Of powdered sugar.

1/4 Cup.Of whole milk.

1/2 Tsp.Of vanilla extract.

PREPARATION:

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon by whisking them together.

2nd Step

Make a well in the middle of the mixture, then pour in the milk, eggs, and applesauce. Combine ingredients by giving a quick stir. Add apples and mix well.

3rd Step

In a deep fryer, large skillet, or dutch oven, heat 375 degrees Fahrenheit oil to a depth of 1 1/2 inches.

4th Step

Put about a quarter cup of batter for each fritter into the heated oil and spread it out as you drop the batter.

5th Step

Cook each side until it reaches a golden brown color, which should take around 2 minutes on each side. To transfer the food to paper towels for draining, use a slotted spoon.

6th Step

Now, in a separate bowl, combine the powdered sugar, additional 1/4 cup of milk, and vanilla extract.

7th Step

To ensure that the glaze coats both sides of each fritter, dunk it in the glaze and then flip it over. Position on wire racks to allow for air drying and drip drying.
