CARAMEL APPLE DUMP CAKE

HOW TO MAKE CARAMEL APPLE DUMP CAKE

This Caramel Apple Dump Cake is the dessert dish that I turn to time and time again for any occasion. It is usually well received by those who try it, and it requires very little work on your side to put it despite its popularity.

The cake’s foundation is a delectable mixture of delicately spiced apples, and its topping is swirls of sweet caramel. The next layer is a gorgeous top layer that is buttery, and tender and has a few areas here and there that are deliciously crispy.

However, a dump cake is simply a name for a kind of cake in which the components are dumped into the pan before being baked. The caramel apple dump cake is made in exactly the same way; after layering the ingredients in a casserole dish, we then place it all in the oven. You will be surprised at how incredibly DELICIOUS the finished cake is, even though the process couldn’t be much simpler.

If you serve this warm caramel apple dump cake with vanilla ice cream and more caramel drizzled on top, prepare to be inundated with requests for the recipe.

THE INGREDIENTS LIST:

Canned apple pie filling; use 2 cans of 20 ounces.

2 small spoons.Of cinnamon powder.

1 small spoon.Of ground nutmeg.

1 1/2 Cups.Of caramel squares; sliced them in halves.

A « yellow cake mix » box.

3/4 Cup.Of butter – melted.

PREPARATION:

1st Step

Set the temperature in the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a casserole dish that is 13 by 9 inches with butter and put it aside.

2nd Step

Combine the apple pie filling, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a basin that is about medium in size. Pour into the casserole dish, then use a spatula to even out the surface.

3rd Step

Place caramel squares on top of the apple filling layer, and then cover everything with a layer of yellow cake mix. The cake mix should be rolled out into an even layer.

4th Step

Spread the butter that has been melted over the cake mix in a uniform layer. If you want to (I always do!), you may sprinkle some more cinnamon over the top of the butter.

5th Step

Bake for forty-five minutes, or until the edges are bubbling and the top has a light golden brown color.

6th Step

Place the mixture in individual serving dishes and, if preferred, top with ice cream and caramel sauce.

ENJOY IT!
