HENNY BUTTER SHRIMP

HOW TO MAKE HENNY BUTTER SHRIMP

Henny Butter Shrimp with Garlic is a recipe that is really simple to prepare. This recipe explains how to prepare this well-known meal the Filipino way. I’m pleased with how it came out. The meal has a lot of flavors and is quite filling. It was delicious when served with cooked rice.
The use of shrimp with scales and a head distinguishes this dish from others of its kind. People who are used to purchasing frozen shrimp from their local grocery may find this unusual. While it may seem unusual, preparing shrimp in this manner is popular in various Asian nations, particularly in the Philippines.

Personally, I like shrimp in this manner since it is more flavorful. The majority of the tastes are concentrated below the level of the skull.
Let me tell you a bit about the ingredients that went into making this recipe. Shrimp, garlic, butter, and lemon soda are the only ingredients in this dish. Don’t take lemon soda for granted since it is an important component of the recipe. It is used to refer to carbonated beverages such as Sprite, 7Up, Sierra Mist, and the like. A large part of the dish’s sweetness may be ascribed to this component. It also works great when combined with butter and garlic.

As the name suggests, the Garlic Butter Sauce is mostly made up of butter and garlic, with a few other ingredients. At first, it’s more of a preparation than a sauce, but that will change. Please allow me to clarify. Sauces are frequently prepared separately from the main dish. It may be added to a meal at any moment, but it must be added as a whole. The sauce for our garlic butter shrimp is being created while the dish is being prepared in the oven.

The sauce is largely responsible for the dish’s overall excellence. While the sauce is cooking, the shrimp contributes significantly to the flavor by infusing it with their flavor.

INGREDIENTS LIST:

Two pounds.Of Shrimp.

2 large spoons.Of chopped parsley.

Half a stick.Of salted butter.

One head of garlic, crushed.

One cup.Of lemon-lime soda.

1 small spoon.Of lemon juice.

Salt and pepper, to taste

PREPARATION METHOD:

Step 1:

To begin, you need to marinate the shrimp in the lemon soda for about 10 minutes before cooking.

Step 2:

Secondly, you should melt the butter in a small saucepan.

Step 3:

After that, toss in the minced head of garlic and heat the mixture over low heat until the color becomes light brown.

Step 4:

At this point, the shrimp should be added. Increase the heat to its highest setting. Continue to stir-fry until the shrimp turns orange.

Step 5:

And now, you need to season with freshly ground black pepper, salt, and freshly squeezed lemon juice, stirring well.

Step 6:

Then, chop the parsley well and sprinkle it over the shrimp, and continue cooking for 30 seconds at a time.

Step 7:

Serve when still warm. Please share and enjoy!

ALTERNATE INGREDIENTS:

As an alternative for lemon soda, you may use lemon, lime, or citrus juice with a pinch of sugar. Don’t go overboard with the lemon since the meal will become sour if you do. The goal is to make the dish taste light and fresh, with a tinge of sweetness to it.

It is possible to use margarine, although it is not recommended. Butter is still the best option.

As an alternative to fresh garlic, garlic powder may be used successfully.
