HOW TO MAKE MILLION-DOLLAR SPAGHETTI CASSEROLE
This cheesy, bubbling, million-dollar spaghetti dish is made with alternating layers of delicious meat sauce, spaghetti, ricotta, and both mozzarella and parmesan cheese. The layers join together to form the million-dollar sign.
It is similar to lasagna in that it has layers of meat sauce, noodles, and cheesy bliss, Aand the million-dollar spaghetti casserole is a creamy, tasty pasta bake. The “million dollars” smoothness of the dish is due, in large part, to the addition of cream cheese to the ricotta.
The million-dollar spaghetti casserole is heavy and satisfying on its own, but it is delicious when served over cheesy garlic bread or a supper salad as an accompaniment. If you want to cut the dish into squares, you need to wait approximately 15 minutes for it to cool down completely first. If your loved ones just cannot wait, it may be easily scooped out of the oven.
This Million Dollar Spaghetti makes for an excellent supper that can be stored in the freezer. After the casserole has been prepared, it may be kept in the freezer for one to two months if it is securely wrapped with plastic wrap, then followed by a layer of aluminum foil. To defrost the casserole properly, place it in the refrigerator the night before. If you are going to freeze anything in a glass dish, give it some time to warm up at room temperature before placing it in the oven. You also have the option of using an aluminum pan for the process of freezing food.
THE INGREDIENTS NEEDED:
Spaghetti noodles; I used a 500 grams Pkg.
500 grams.Of Italian sausage.
500 grams.Of ground beef.
2 medium chopped onions.
Marinara sauce; I used 2 medium cans.
Ricotta cheese; I used approx. 400 grams.
A large beaten egg.
Softened cream cheese; use a 220 grams container.
2 Cups.Of grated mozzarella cheese.
1 Cup.Of grated parmesan cheese.
Freshly chopped parsley.
PREPARATION:
1st Step
Cook the spaghetti noodles in a large saucepan of salted water until they reach the “al dente” stage, following the directions on the box. Drain, then put it to the side for later use.
2nd Step
Turn the oven on to 350 degrees. While it is going on, put some ground beef, some Italian sausage, and some onion into a big pan.
3rd Step
Cook until the beef is no longer pink and the onion is cooked, then drain off any excess oil that has accumulated. The marinara sauce should be added to the pan and stirred to mix it before it is put aside.
4th Step
Now, you need to combine ricotta, cream cheese, and egg in a medium bowl and mix well with a hand mixer.
5th Step
Spread one cup of the beef sauce on the bottom of a baking dish measuring 9 × 13 inches. The first layer should consist of half of the spaghetti noodles, followed by half of the meat mixture, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, and finally, half of the mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
6th Step
It is necessary to repeat the stacking process with the remaining half of the ingredients. And then place in the oven for another half an hour, until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce is bubbling up the edges of the dish.
7th Step
If you want the top of the cheese to have a golden brown color, broil it for around two to three minutes.
ENJOY IT GUYS!!!!!
