HOW TO MAKE NO-BAKE STRAWBERRY PIE
There is no easier dessert than a no-bake Strawberry Pie prepared with Jell-O and Cool Whip. The most challenging part of making this recipe is the waiting time required for it to the firm in the refrigerator. I cannot express how much affection I have for this no-bake strawberry pie recipe. The filling is smooth and creamy, and it has a strawberry taste that is quite sweet. The color is a really beautiful shade of pink. The use of a graham cracker crust that was purchased from a shop makes it not only easy but also quite fast to put together.
This dish can’t possibly go wrong! If you can bring water to a boil, you already have all of the skills you need to be successful in the kitchen. This recipe calls for just four components, one of which is water. The other three components are dry ingredients. I like making baked goods from scratch, but there are times when I need a recipe that doesn’t need quite as much work. This Strawberry No Bake Pie is very easy to put together since it uses Jell-O mix, a cool whip, and a crust that has already been made.
When I bring this pie to a get-together for a holiday or even just a casual breakfast, everyone goes crazy over it. It works well for potlucks or any other occasion in which you need to feed a group of people.
THE INGREDIENTS LIST:
160 milliliters.Of boiling water.
Strawberry flavored JELL-O; I used an 80-grams Pkg.
250 milliliters.Of ice cold water.
450 grams.Of Whipped Topping – thawed.
A graham cracker crumb crust; use a 9-inches one.
For decorating; you can use whipped cream and fresh strawberries.
PREPARATION:
1st Step
In a bowl, add the boiling water and the JELL-O and whisk the mixture often until the JELL-O is completely dissolved (2 minutes).
2nd Step
After adding the cold water to the mixture, whisk it constantly until it begins to thicken just a little bit.
3rd Step
After adding the cool whip, stir it in with a whisk until it is completely integrated into the mixture. Put the mixture in the refrigerator, and let it cold for about half an hour to an hour.
4th Step
Spread the mixture evenly in the graham cracker shell. Put it in the refrigerator to chill until it solidifies (at least 4 hours or overnight).
5th Step
Before serving, top each slice with whipped cream, more cool whip, and fresh strawberries for garnish.
RECIPE NOTES:
You may keep the pie in the refrigerator for up to five days if you cover it with the lid that was included with the pre-made crust and use an airtight lid.
If you don’t want any added sugar to this dessert, you may prepare it using sugar-free strawberry Jell-O and low-calorie cool whip.
You can make whatever kind of fruit pie you want by just switching up the taste of the Jell-O you use. If you want a simple citrus treat, try making something using lemon or lime.
