HOW TO MAKE NUTS AND BOLTS RECIPE
When you have a lot of people around, it’s a good idea to have some savory and buttery Chex mix (also known as nuts and bolts) in the pantry. I cannot believe that it has taken me this long to finally share with you all the traditional nuts and bolts recipe that has been in my family for generations. You can really thank the two people shown below for giving me the kick in the pants I needed this year to finally get around to posting a handmade recipe for nuts and bolts for all of you to enjoy.
THE INGREDIENTS LIST:
2 Cups.Of salted butter – melted.
1 Tbsp.Of seasoning salt.
3 Tbsp.Of Worcestershire Sauce.
2-3 Tbsp.Of garlic powder.
1 Tbsp.Of paprika.
7 Cups.Of « Crispi-x Cereal » corn and rice.
4 Cups.Of « Rice Chex ».
4 Cups.Of plain « Cheerios ».
4 Cups.Of pretzel sticks.
1 box cheese stick crackers
To start, you should prepare your oven by heating it to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
Put the cereals, nuts, crackers, and pretzels into a fairly big roaster and mix them all together. Melt butter in the microwave (or on the stove), then stirs in the spices and Worcestershire sauce.
Pour over the dry ingredients, then give it a little toss to combine everything.
Bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 250 degrees, stirring gently with a spoon every 25 minutes or so during the baking process.
When you can see that all of the butter mixtures have been absorbed and the combination is dry, the mixture will be finished being mixed.
