HOW TO MAKE PEACH COBBLER?
This basic Old Time Peach Cobbler recipe can be made from fresh or canned peaches so it’s still a treat that you can enjoy all year round. It’s one of my mom’s favorite family recipes, and, though I’m biased, I think it’s the best of the best!
The peach season is the best time of year as well, am I right?! I enjoy traveling to pick your own farm or buy a big box from a regional seller. One of the things I will never get bored of is peaches! I have so many favorite peach recipes that I rotate each season through them So don’t hesitate to join us, to see them all!!
This recipe for peach cobbler comes from my grandmother, and it’s a favorite family recipe she’s making for us when we grow up all the time! The great thing about it is that putting it together literally takes 5 minutes!
THE INGREDIENTS LIST:
Sliced Peaches: I didn’t have fresh peaches, so I used a medium can, I drained them well.
Bisquick mix: I only used one cup.
Almond milk: you’ll need one glass.
Melted butter: Half cup.
Sugar: I used a cup Of sugar cane.
Optional ingredient: Vanilla Ice Cream.
1/2 small spoon.Of ground nutmeg.
1/2 small spoon.Of cinnamon powder.
STEP-BY STEP PREPARATION:
In an 8.8-inch baking dish, I stir the Bisquick mix, with almond milk, a bit of ground nutmeg, and cinnamon powder together until thoroughly mixed.
After that, I added melted butter to the bowl, and stir well until all ingredients incorporated.
In a mixing bowl, I mixed the sugar cane with peach slices, stirring well, and I place spoonfuls of peach mixture over the Bisquick crust.
I baked in an oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 50 minutes to 1 hour. and for the topping, I used vanilla ice cream, my children are abscessed with this peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream!!
So you’ll love it too, for sure!!!
TELL ME THAT’S NOT THE BEST KNOWN COMFORT FOOD DESSERT? A PORTION OF WARM PEACH COBBLER AND A SCOOP OF VANILLA ICE CREAM, SERVED TOGETHER, IS GENERALLY MY IDEA OF A HEAVENLY MEAL.
