THE HEALTHIEST SHRIMP WITH HONEY AND GARLIC

HOW TO MAKE SHRIMP WITH HONEY AND GARLIC

This honey garlic shrimp is one of my favorite Asian recipes to cook since it takes very little effort to put together and is done in a very short amount of time. You may serve it over sticky white rice or with some noodles on the side. Try eating it with a side of vegetables, spiralized zucchini noodles, or rice if you’re following a low-carb diet. Other options include potatoes.

Quick, easy, and supeeeer yummy. There are just six ingredients required to make this honey garlic shrimp dish, and the whole preparation time is less than ten minutes.

The honey garlic sauce in which the shrimp are marinated and cooked is out of this world.
This delicious sauce is prepared by combining garlic, ginger, honey, and soy sauce. Finding a happy medium between sweetness and saltiness is not difficult at all. You may use it with chicken and beef too, or even fish.

THE INGREDIENTS LIST:

Peeled and deveined shrimp; you’ll need approx. 1 pound.

Fresh or frozen broccoli florets; I used 1 cup.

1 large spoon.Of olive oil.

HERE IS WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO MAKE THE SAUCE:

1 small spoon.Of minced garlic

½ small spoon.Of minced ginger.

4 large spoons.Of honey.

3 large spoons.Of soy sauce.

PREPARATION:

First Step

Put the broccoli florets in a microwave-safe dish, add a few tablespoons of water, and steam on high for two minutes.

Second Step

Mix all of the sauce ingredients in a bowl and then split it in half. Marinate the shrimp in half of the sauce for five to ten minutes before serving (or up to 24 hours).

Third Step

Bring a heavy-duty pan to a high temp. First, add one tablespoon of oil to the pan, and then add the shrimp that has been marinated.

Fourth Step

You should sear them on both sides in groups of two until they are browned, which should take around one minute on each side.

Fifth Step

Add the broccoli to the skillet, sprinkle it with the remaining sauce, and stir everything together very well.
